I agree. But it's the younger generations that aren't voting because they have no vital stake at this point in their lives. It's the established and entrenched party goers that are voting.

The younger generations aren’t voting not because they have no vital stake at this point in their lives. Far from it. They aren’t voting because the boomers are still gung-ho in destroying the environment and everything else for their own greed at the expense of everyone following them.
Well I understand but if you do not vote for the closest to your ideals( not exact as candidates cannot be EVERYTHING to EVERYONE) you will never get the change you seek. The boomers can vote their fucked up way but you can counter that and be the generation of change.
They’re sure sticking it to the boomers by not voting and letting the boomers keep getting what they want. I tell younger voters, there’s a reason boomers keep getting what they want. They vote for it.
How many Greta Thunbergs do you need? How many Paris accords do we need to set meaningful changes in 2080 or later again? What about fossil fuel and its entrenched subsidies? Or a retired Speakerof the House blocking younger generations of politicians from heading meaningful committees?
Don’t blame the younger generations. We just aren’t buying the fake hope and change slogans anymore.
If you sit and stare at a wall that you need to paint, it’ll never get painted. Put the work in, aka a small chunk out of at least one day a year to vote. Every election. Change doesn’t happen if you sit there.
And who said I am just sitting? Good politicians getting primaried by heavily pocketed special interests backed by the party establishment. Unfettered donations and questionable stock portfolios. Multi-tiered justice system….
So you continue to let the bad guys win, because nobody delivered you Bernie to your door in an Uber. You are a lazy generation waiting for someone to give you a good job medal. It’s broken out here help fix it.
First, who said I wanted Bernie? Second, who said I didn’t vote? Third, what did YOU do to fix this? It started way before many of us. Fourth, why are you asking later generations to fix your mistakes? Sounds like you didn’t do anything.
5 you are a rage framer not a serious person. 6 grow up and stop blaming everyone else for your failures and inability to get your own act together. 7 Easier to blame the world and and take no responsibility, get out of the basement !
Boomers were split between Biden and Trump contrasted with gen x, who favored trump by 19 percent. There are more boomers voters, but if they are split, then the difference makers are from the groups that are not split.
That literally is cutting off your nose to spite your face. Absofuckinglutely the wrong attitude to have They gave the keys to Arkham Asylum to the Joker, because they are too lazy to stand and vote. Australia is the only country fighting voter apathy!
You really have balls blaming young people for “apathy” and “not doing anything”. This started long before many can even vote. And where were you then? Why aren’t you protesting or pressuring your government to use the 14th Amendment now? I see many of you happily just sitting there. 👀👀👀
My country doesn't have a 14th amendment in its constitution.
That's the stake they don't have, a loud voice that's supported by numbers. No point in standing up when you don't have support.
