You could make a mockumentary about Obama’s first term very much in the style of blazing saddles, and probably use most of the same gags. It doesn’t need to stick in the past.

That's kinda what I was saying. The premise is clever, and the plot great. But the liberal use of 'n____r', comedy Down Syndrome character and the stereotype of the well-hung black man, maybe not. That's the stuff the 'you couldn't make this now' types lament the passing of.
