I misspoke. ICE isn't deputizing bounty hunters, rather immigration bond agents can contract bounty hunters to track down and detain individuals who "skipped bail".
Which aren't Jan 6 defendants. To be a licensed bond agent, you cannot have a criminal history such as theirs.
