They have already tried that and miserably failed. Israel can cripple the oil production of Iran (not done until now), which will probably bring the entire economy down. The Iranians should be careful.

They will not intercept above Tel Aviv, but much earlier.

It will be terrible, but the other option (Iran has a real bomb) is much worse. If Iran does that, however, Israel will no doubt react with nuclear weapons, and unlike Iran, it does have nuclear bombs (lots of them). But really, this is a worst-case scenario, I don't believe it will get to that.
