That just enrages me..we are failing as a nation. Not only are we improperly addressing bad behavior we are creating future prisoners. The brain isn’t transactional. It predicts behavior based on past experience & our behavioral “operating system” is defined when we’re kids. It’s infuriating.
And, to a person, they will claim to be “Pro-life” with a straight face.
I actually blame the misinterpretation of the Bible. They’ve been forcing it into every aspect of American life since Brown v BoE. It justifies their bad decisions. They believe god sent his only son to earth which allows them to break the 10 rules he said not to break. It makes zero sense.
