Speaking with one voice is not democracy. Speaking with the talking points of the Trump regime is verging on dictatorship.

Debate within the party, vote on a platform and leaders. THEN speak with one voice. Every year or election cycle.

I suspect there’s a range between only one person talking because they have too much ego and everyone talking over each other because they have too much ego. Democracy is about hearing what people want and amplifying the messages that resonate. That is what is meant by speaking with one voice.

This is about values. The Democratic Party needs to embrace some values and be unified in pursuing them, versus cos playing the opposition when out of power, or when in power, doing very solid work and failing to have united messaging. They are too busy trying to appease their rich donors

If all sides are trying to appease the same 'rich donors', you don't have a hope in hell. I would say you are being governed by an oligarchy.
