OMFG! Don't mind me banging my head on my desk trying to explain that orange text on white background is extremely hard to get right for color contrast. And then have a tech consulting firm be like "WAHHH??? what is this color contrast you speak of?"

For years I worked for a company that had orange-on-white branding. They finally switched it out for better contrast but a local campaign I work on does it too 😔

You can use APCA standards for orange (which fails WCAG because of the way the standard is defined rather than actual accessibility)

If I remember right, this orange also fails that. Besides then we would be failing internal policy and international law.

Color contrast isn't just for people with vision difficulties. It also helps with glare. So, be selfish. Make your website work in bright sunlight so you can work outside on a patio with a tasty beverage.

Yeah, it is a battle I have been waging for decades at this point. Your pretty brand colors mean nothing if people can't READ IT.

Ditto but on a smaller scale. Sigh. So much sigh.
