Hard to say. Unfortunately he might be like his dad and want to cling to the pretense of power until the bitter end :-/

If there is enough support, he will. The sociopath wife will back him up too. If the demon keels over, MAGA will blame him anyway..

True but also…his wife (and children) not being white is the main reason MAGA will turn on him. The most extreme of them already hate him. He has to be careful to make sure if he did this, his wife will not be seen as responsible (although in reality I agree she would encourage him to do it)

Yeah I was gonna say this is the only reason he’s not doing it now. He’s just hoping the guy drops dead so he has no “betrayal” to answer for.

This is counterintuitive to my soul but I wish he had more hobbies & activities he actually enjoyed. There’s pretty much just golf, and he can barely do that with his congestive heart failure. He needs some more incentive to quit.
