Protect, fund, promote, and do whatever you can to help any of your trans friends trying to get out and/or trying to organize. That's a good start, also be involved if you can, be physical protection at marches/protests. Be security for a drag event. Whatever you can, just ask and be willing.

i live in a small town and my trans friend lives in the other side of country. i talked with her back in january about her moving and if she needed help id be there. but i cant force her to leave. shes on of the sweetest people i know and it makes me sick to see how people talk bout her

Oh yeah that's a common issue, but it wouldn't hurt to also try and make new friends more locally too. Ask around, see if there's anybody organizing anything that you can help out with. You'd be surprised even in small towns

Conservative towns are where people are needed the most, though. It may take some time to find, but there's almost certainly some group trying to do some work to help support LGBTQ groups somewhere, even if very quietly.
