So simple to just toss out the majesty of the legal process! Profiling brown people as “born criminals” (Kristi Noem) is such a convenient shortcut— only a lot of innocent people are caught up in the net, like dolphins in a tuna net.

This was in international waters, & not in America. The boat was no threat to us. Trump has no authority outside the US. This is f'd up. How & why would our military behave so foolishly & illegally?

I agree, though to be clear, people standing in front of a hardware store in an American city looking for work aren't any threat to anyone either. In that case and in this case, the point isn't to keep anyone safe or enforce any laws, it's to inflict violence and cruelty as a show of force.

True And, Venezuela = oil DJT is demanding regime change in Venezuela w/ a replacement that he approves. 8/7/25 Bondi announced a $50 MIL reward for info to arrest Maduro. We have over 4000 troops & 8 warships sitting off Venezuela right now. Think the boat thing was a warning & show of force.
