whether he is truly the real deal or not, i can't say, but at the very least, he's looking a hell of a lot more convincing on being the real deal than 99 percent of the party.

The fundraising text I got from him began with "I get these stupid fundraising texts from Democrats too. And look: They wouldn't bother me if Democratic leadership was actually doing something useful right now." Real deal or not, he's definitely read the room.
