5 year old turns on the tub faucet and floods the bathroom. Should we blame the water company for not requiring child proof faucets?
My thought is why does a 5 y.o. have access to a phone logged into an Amazon account? Old phone? Why didn't you logout when you got new phone? Or how did the kid unlock the phone? I could continue with questions. My point is... not the fault of the kid. The kid has no idea how much money that it.
The parents definitely dropped the ball on this one. (Also, there is some info missing in this video: Amazon should have a time limit just like every other financial transactor — they should force-logoff after X minutes of inactivity. I’m thinking that wasn’t “an old phone“.)
I got an 8 y.o., can you guess what my kid can't do?
Snatch your phone while you’re using it and haul a**?
That can happen but the Amazon part would still need happen.

No disrespect intended, but that is the most illogical and unreasonable analogy I have seen on this site so far
Why?
Does your bathtub have your credit card number?
That makes no sense.
Amazon does require a password.
Amazon normally does require this, but they have a “feature” This is your reminder to turn off One-Click ordering
Ah! And there it is. Thanks.
If I had to provide my password and a verification code every time I ordered something on Amazon, I would be thoroughly pissed. Get real.
Lemme hold your phone for a minute
Screen auto-locks in 30 seconds, then a 6-digit passcode or finger print to unlock. You’re out of luck. 😊
