Pls inform yourself about the real Auschwitz. Even though this camp here is terrible, it’s nowhere near the industrial mass murder of millions of humans in Auschwitz.

The first instance of Auschwitz was intended to be exactly like the Florida camp: a holding facility. Just like Dachau was built to hold political opponents, intellectuals, and artists. Auschwitz is classified as an extermination camp because of site 2, Auschwitz-Birkenau, which was built later.

I’ll tell you a true story. A protester was holding a sign which read “Alligator Auschwitz”. A passer by asked “What’s Auschwitz?” The protester holding the sign replied “Google it”. The moral: It might help preserve history if Holocaust analogies were used when appropriate.
