It's no comparison, Jim. Automatic weapons have no place in civilian life. There is a place for them and its at the range and in the field. Period.

Agreed. Thats where I use mine. (Semi-automatics / AR- 15s are not automatic either) I consider target shooting to be a highly regulated sport. The car analogy shows lawful ownership but the consequences of unlawful use. But I get your point. I just want someone to see mine. I think you did. Thnx

Full auto or no its what it can do that matters.

All my guns including shotguns can do that. I've been trained to kill with a Bic pen. I've investigated murders caused by hammers, windshield washer fluid, and drowning. Evil people will find a way.
