Being unaware of diversity doesn't make you racist, just ignorant. Neither is good but not everyone is aware that they are ignorant. Racist people know they are racist.

Privilege is racism. Ignorance of others is privilege.

You can be ignorant without being racist. Most people will try to change when ignorace is involved but racism is deep and a concious effort. But whatever, you will keep thinking the way you will so this is a mite point. Ive seen change in people maybe you havent.

Not having to think about race is a privilege rooted in systemic racism. Information is easily available today. Ignorance is a choice.
