Notice I said "Republican voters", not "fascists". Contrary to popular belief they are not the same thing, and should not be equated.

You do have a point there. I actually do a search for “Trump Regrets” on Twitter every now and then, and despite loads of, “I HAVE NO REGRETS!” posts that are probably from troll accounts or bots, I DO find plenty of Republican voters who have voiced regret over their vote. I keep track of them.
That they didn't *mean* to bring about fascism doesn't mean that they didn't actively bring it about.
oh whoopsie doodle, the country's collapsing and people are getting disappeared. Aw gee, what a misunderstanding!
At least by being capable of regret and remorse, they show that they are human. And even those who have yet to regret, but voice their disapproval may show regret in time. I’m an old codger in his 40’s willing to forgive and express kindness even to those who may not deserve it.
But it is conditional. I will not show kindness or forgiveness to anyone who doesn’t show any sign of regret. My first action when I see someone take the time to shout out loud they have no regrets I immediately block them. I have two reasons behind doing that too:
1) Nobody in their right mind would waste their time & energy shouting about how they have no regrets. So those that do are probably bots or troll farmers. 2) Anyone real who bothers to do that is likely, as I said, “Not in their right mind”, so there’s no point talking to them.
If Republicans didn’t want to be lumped in with fascists, they should not have voted for fascists. It really is just that simple.
