Yeah Too many people think an immigrant community (legal or alien) negatively impact their income and the local economy despite it being objectively false. Idk how to fix that other than camps. I hoped democracy would be resilient enough to stand on its own, but we don't have that anymore. So camps
The problem with camps is that it can backfire. Attempting to put that into place will galvanize opposition and could lead to bigger issues. Re-Education, however, is a good idea because clearly people don’t know, failed their classes, or have been taught wrong about certain things.
The question is how to encourage people to go back to basics and learn what they should have learned when they were younger. Basic civics, government, and history lessons need to be given not just to children, but to adults who either forgot or never learned the basics.
You can’t force them to do it, but if you took steps to make it available to them as an option, then they might be more willing to take it. It could even be framed as a, “This is why your side lost” educational program, maybe. Bottom line: Americans need to get smarter in general.
I'm being a little hyperbolic because it's fun to watch chuds squirm at the reality that they've fucked themselves is just such a euphoric feeling. But yeah, hyperbole when saying "camps". We need better understanding of the world around us for all the rest of us.
You call it "being a little hyperbolic". I call it an authoritarian dogwhistle.
I agree that the hyperbolic talk needs to hit the brakes. You’re both on the same side, but the abrasiveness of how you conduct yourself here is making each of you think the other one’s on the other side. And did you call James here a chud?
