For me it's a bit of both, plus a conviction that I shall not run into pedestrians, period, full stop, no matter what silly-ass thing they do, which means I do need to pay a bit more attention, especially near Harvard and most of the squares.

I’m subverting the natural order, look at them and their cellphones and their unsupervised children, they deserve to get hit and hospitalized, it’ll teach them a lesson.
