I even remember its predecessor, “In the Know,” which was basically “In the News” with Josie and the Pussycats.

CBS must have really seen something in Josie and the Pussycats, because they gave them their own show, then gave them kids’ news, and even put them in outer space!

I also remember, in 1976, "200 Years Ago Today," and there would be a short drama for kids about the Revolutionary War. I've tried in vain to track down videos. (I was a wee lass, so I'm not sure if it was national or just local to Cleveland.)
