The Brewers probably did more to actually improve their team during the 2025 season than anyone else but the tyranny of the trade deadline being the focus is all attention is obscuring that.

I think this is a complaint I have about the offseason too. You can make moves now that help you next year, and then get filet'd because "you didn't do something" in December or January.

“People” is mostly Twitter bots, Packers-first WI sports fans with social media addictions, & angry guys who use sports radio as a salve for their loneliness and despair. Thoughtful Brewers fans have reasonable commentary about the way the organization is managed. Steelpersoning > Strawpersoning.

I've probably been disappointed at points when I shouldn't have been over the years, but the lights are on to get better more often than they're off, and a lot of things that matter happen when we're not sitting in a giant hotel waiting for something to happen.
