good read. i have a PG&E LP but didn't know any of this. Mick Fleetwood's book 'play on' talks quite a bit about 60s-70s Jesus hippie cults in UK & USA. i noticed Michael Giles played drums on a Larry Norman's 'So long ago in the garden' LP recorded at Air Studios!

Most of it was news to me as well. Outside of music and celebrities, I have witnessed people in these cults. There is no reasoning with them at all. It is better to just walk away and try to forget about them.

i had little choice my parents were 'jesus only' fanatics. Their parents were small town depressed alcoholic farmers so neither drank hated bars & catholics needed something 'family' to do. In college i studied history, classic/ancient lit, this helped to shed fundamentalism. 🖤those Ancient Greeks

My mother was a christian and my grandparents were fanatical. I did not believe in the lies for very long. I am the only atheist in what is left of our family.
