i do wonder what i'd do if my raspberrypi shits the bed while im on vacation. i guess i have hourly backups so i could just stand up a new PDS temporarily

Yeah I’m not expecting 100% uptime it’s just that like, I don’t have *any* personal infra at the moment. My website is static files on netlify. I have zero personal infrastructure set up, and the safety net is mostly psychological, makes it feel worth the investment because I have the return option

yea my remix blog app crashes sometimes for some unknown reason that i care nothing about, and just the act of having to shell in to restart it is so annoying.

True, but it's work done once and forgotten rather than work you have to keep doing a little bit at a time. What do I know, though. I'm just a tinkerer. 🤷♂️
