I’ve been looking for a Colbert quote to post that did suitable justice to my reference for him. I think this might be it.

Thanks to you & @tylerhuckabee.bsky.social. That’s beautiful.
Been thinking about this one a lot this year, as well.
This was brilliant
It's kinda insane how good of an interviewer Dua Lipa is.
Quite lovely. I can't relate to the faith in a higher power, but I think we can all see the depth and breadth of his faith in humanity. Fell in comedy love with him after stumbling across a copy of Wigfield (w/Sedaris and Dinello). He is an inspiration and a truly hilarious man. Thank you, Stephen.
You nailed it! 🙌🏾 This the post that shows the essence of who Colbert is….
Stephen Colbert has grace.
You mean reverence?
It's awful to treat him this way, but a silver lining might be that he's free to hopefully produce more content that might walk the line between humor and faith. His voice is so desperately needed these days.
This is perfect.
There should be a protest march for Colbert and creative freedom. Against dictators and fascisme..
Wow. Much as I love him, I don’t know if you’d get anything of that depth and profundity from Graham Norton…

Thank you for digging this up!
She has a book club on YouTube. She's very smart.
Dua Lipa is a good interviewer. Check out her author interviews for her book club, Service95.
oh my god. This is beautiful. Thank you so much for posting it. It's perfect.📌
Wow is right.
I’m a lifelong atheist, but I *always* seek out Colbert clips when he talks about his faith. He’s more gracious and blessed than any of the self proclaimed Christians I encounter in my day to day life. He uses his Christianity to embrace, not cudgel.
People who don’t have a sense of humor are disturbing. Ever notice that none of the signs at a MAGA rally are funny?
Reverence.
Right???
