24hrs? Then Casablanca. Only thing really great there is the incredibly impressive mosque- and it IS beyond stunning — tangier deserves more time.
They both sound amazing, but if you spend those 24 hours wearing a shawl collar white tux in Tangier, you'll just look like an ass.
When I've studied possible travel to Morocco, everything said Casablanca paled compared to other Arabic Meditteranean cities for what it's worth.
(Mediterranean, sorry)
Yeah, I’m definitely doing three days in Rabat, but I’m trying to figure out which of those two to do an additional 24 hours in.
You likely know, and 1 day isn't enough and its not central but Marakkesh is the must see city in Morocco
Golly gee whiz. I wish I had this dilemma.✌️🤗
Tangier for a more chill 24 hours.. beach, cafe, cool art history. Casablanca for more bustling metropolis and the architecture.
The only two choices? I ask because I think there are better cities like Rabat or something smaller like Agadir. I prefer Tangier over Casablanca. Air always seemed cleaner to me and I like taking the ferry from Spain or France to Tangier. If flying, choose the easiest one for your connections?
There’s gonna be three days in Rabat regardless. Just curious if I had to add 24 hours in one or the other which it should be.
If already in-country my choice would be Tangier. Both are kinda industrial-hectic cities in my experience and not that dissimilar but, to me, Tangier has a bit more of… 1/2
…the Spanish añorar or Portuguese saudade, but that’s just me being a drifting romantic. Your mileage could vary.
