Saw someone talk about it as a dress rehearsal for the real thing and that works pretty well for me. That being said, I'd also be pretty comfortable keeping the party going based on the fact that (as far as I've seen) the 'proof' that he's alive is a couple photos taken at a distance. (He's alive)
