This is a terrible part of the bill. But right now we donβt have time or energy for special interests. We need to all mobilize behind, killing the bill. The one big beautiful Bill is also known as the social murder bill that ends democracy. It needs to die on the Senate floor.
Yep, kill the whole thing. Thereβs at least a dozen poison pills within it, this just being one.
How do we do it, though? Is there any hope? At all? π I'm in WA and we "only" stand to lose about 5,000,000 acres but unless a few red Senators are turned (VERY unlikely), I think our land is gone for good.
Iβve been calling all the republic senators. Telling them that this bill is death by austerity, a betrayal of the social contract with the America people. That we will not forgot and we hold everyone who voted for this βsocial murder billβ accountable. We will not forget.
These provisions are in the "One Big Ugly Bill," and yes, it needs to die on the Senate floor.

Want to know which senators would benefit financially if this passes.
The proposed sale of public land & decimation of our national parks makes me sick. Our national parks are a treasure. It has been my goal to visit all the national parks in retirement. Now, I wonder if there will be National Parks, Public Monuments, & public lands to visit at all, anymore!
This was all in Project 2025.
