I’m really sorry. I moved up to Leeds a while ago now & found out my family was originally from Yorkshire. This is home to me & I’m broken hearted by what RefUK & racists are doing. Labour seem to be staying quiet on it or labelling it “legitimate concerns”. Horrified, really very horrified.

The Tory 'stop the boats' rhetoric was designed to appeal to the racists amongst us. Then along came Reform Ltd and fanned the flames. I grew up in multicultural Leicester and am absolutely appalled by the rise in attacks.

The only crime increasing at an alarming rate is hate crime. I think I saw someone this morning quote 230% up. Both parents were like it & I’m ashamed of that. Their bigoted views made me physically wince, until I started fighting them on it. It’s repulsive.

My father were racist thugs, I was too frightened of them to say much. I left Leicester and offloaded my entire bigoted family aged 18 and never looked back.

For me I was 19. Came up here and found it was multicultural & less stressful. I was in Clacton. So I get what’s going on down there & to some degree I don’t blame them. It’s using socio-economic situations to fuel hatred. Coastal places are just left to struggle.

Same in Great Yarmouth where posh 'man of the people' Rupert Lowe is MP.

Prime targets. Along with left behind industrial centres. Our constituency, our literal home is built on an old coal mine. Ergo high Leave vote. High rate of deprivation. Also high rate of up and coming’s who are shifting politics due to their financial gains.

The Tories saw to it that the poorer areas were deprived of Government funding and along came Nigel to tell everyone that their poverty was caused by the brown people.

Othering works. Find a group and point a finger. Trans people, disabled people, immigrants. Mental health sufferers. Never ever point a finger at those actually causing it. The Government with broken lopsided policy. Or the 1%. Lobbyists that want you sick. Never the real problem.

Othering is the weapon of choice for dictators. Works every time.

You’re good. Trust me my autocorrect changes my sentences into gibberish on the regular, and rereading wouldn’t really help because I can’t one hundred percent see at the present time. No worries. I grasped the overall sentiment.

My eyes are ok, just spend far too much time on here and get careless. Autocorrect has an overactive imagination.
