I have a solution. All blue states should refuse to send any federal taxes to the US Treasury in 2025. Let Texas and Florida suffer.

That would be great if it were at all possible. Payroll taxes are paid directly to the federal government. There is no opportunity for states to intercept the payments and hold them ransom.

You are right. Darn it. CA should change the law to have federal taxes sent to the State Controller. Then the legislature can vote on whether to send those funds to the federal government.

Cut off all Blue State money to the Feds. End all Red Welfare State.
