It's scary, but he plays a dad with an amazing character arc in NOS4A2 (series based on a book by Stephen King's son Joe Hill).

Ohhhh, I'll have to check it out! Thank you.
Feels like he gets roles where he's a an obnoxious jerk who yells constantly & then they realize they're vastly underutilizing him.
Oops! Thought I was replying in the part of the thread that would loop @hannahr.bsky.social in, since I know she's a King fan.
I loved the book NOS4A2, I'll have to look for the series.
I'll have to check out the book! I'm currently reading Needful Things because we had a copy. Maybe I'll read that next?
There is a scene in Needful Things where a villain makes their entrance for the first time that I *swear* I could hear the Ennio Morricone music for The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly while I was reading - it was just that perfect.
YES!!! It is soooo goooood! The series is well done too!
Joe Hill is a hell of an author, FWIW
I somehow managed to score a first edition copy of his early collection 20th Century Ghosts that is a much-prized part of our library.
Absolutely!!
