Last night MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell said Trump was the first U.S. president to “switch sides during a war.” That aptly describes Trump’s betrayal but it can’t begin to convey the depravity of what Trump did in throwing our ally overboard and lying about every facet of Putin’s criminal aggression.
He was like this in his first term. He's been like this his whole life. Everyone knew who he was long before they voted for his dumb ass. Yet they were still scammed by him into voting for his stupid bs.

I have been here in Kyiv over a year. A number of my Ukrainian colleagues are asking me if I understand what is going on in the US. I really do not have an answer. I really do not know what to say, because I do not understand it either. To say this is shattering is an understatement.
Here’s how: America is experiencing a decline in morals. Money is more important than people. We got here by electing someone who constantly & intentionally normalized greed and hubris. He also endorsed violence and threatening people. He thinks he is a Dictator/King. Many feel fear because of him.
So now everything is about his needs. He’s causing massive destruction. He does not care about anyone else except for himself.
You can say that unlike Ukraine, the US has already fallen to Russia due to a media blitz of lies and propaganda. There is no will to fight back here. We are all afraid of endangering our own creature comforts.
American citizens could make a different choice. I don't believe there is no will to fight back although the leaders need to come forward, I am hoping they are strategising behind the scenes otherwise US will be seen as a pariah state. THAT will truly endanger your 'creature comforts'
