It does seem like instead of offering a possible pardon to his personal friend for what sounds like hundreds of grotesque and disgusting crimes against children, that the President could try to actually use the Department of Justice to get real justice for the victims of this terrible child abuse.
Opening up new serious investigations into Epstein's friends and all of his associates at Mar a Lago who participated in the crimes might be uncomfortable for the President, but nonetheless, it is the right thing to do, if his previous administration failed to prosecute all of these very bad people.
It really feels like the hundreds of victims of these crimes have already suffered greatly in part due to the President being uncomfortable or embarrassed due to his own personal involvement with the notorious criminals, but this can be made better by simply getting real justice for the victims now.
