I think the one thing we are overlooking- Dems have a chance to 15% OUTPERFORM in former Red/Swing districts. There are a couple dozen of those.

Agree 100 percent, but the media is totally missing the swing districts in BLUE and RED STATES that had gone for Trump, and Trump only. Normally up for grabs or blue. If we work hard, these will be BLUE next year. Right, Don Bacon?

Yes, the ground game. Mass protests, people in the streets. I am addicted to reading all the good content behind the headlines, the massive content in the digital NYT on any given morning. The news section cowers and chisels around the edges of the obvious. I can ignore it or I can cancel.

Aside from the protesting there needs to be a concerted effort to get anti-regime candidates elected. That’s going to require grassroots door-to-door efforts. The media is not going to assist. At all. We also have to collectively get over the desire to have ‘perfect’ candidates.

Not letting perfect be the enemy of good is going to be extremely difficult for many people, and a big mess is going to be made in the process. But it will be a fairly easy to repair mess, vs what happens if the fascists consolidate power.
