Lol! The vent on the microwave was installed in the wrong direction. I know what to do to fix it, it's just that we'd have to take the heavy microwave down to do it, then reinstall it and neither of us wants to deal with it. So, smokey kitchen.

You JUST motivated ME to eat. Microwaved turkey pot pie. NO smoke.

So, HOW can we motivate you to fix that vent?? I'd HELP, if I could. I mean, it only took me 4 years to change the flexi-screen door on my door. BECAUSE of the heat we've been having. I'm NOT lazy, I participate selectively.

Lol! It's the heaviness that's the problem. Hiring someone to do it is about halfway down my Gee I Need Money For That list. Neither my husband nor I have any confidence that we could do it without accidentally dropping it on the glass top stove underneath and breaking it.

Nope. We are the younger neighbors. (read- middle aged) Most people in this neighborhood are retirees. And we only moved here last year, so we haven'tmet a lot of people. Everyone we knew is in the old town, several hours away.

I'm sorry. I'm 77, but can still lift and move, for short periods or distances (20 feet), 40-50 pounds.
