Good question! I'm not sure about the misinformation. My perspective is that MAGA will believe what they want to believe. But I think we have to support orgs that push back in their continuing use of DEI. If you're in a position to manage or hire - ensure you get the best people for the job.

Include skills testing along with the personality testing. Promote continuing ed for yourself and staff. Work for orgs that you can be proud of & that share your values. Call out bullshit when you see it. Don't go along to get along. Just my 2 cents.
