I think article 5 is the backbone of NATO. I don't know what 1 - 4 are, but 5 is the real reason to belong. An attack on one is considered an attack on all. Why would Putin accept that?

“Article 5 like” protections is what they supposedly had now when Russia invaded them in 2022. It’s a bullshit concept. Even if it wasn’t that exact language, we were supposed to protect them in exchange for them giving up their nukes. Fuck the language, they deserve to be part of NATO!

Putin also said tha he would protect Ukraine with Great Britain Nd the US when they gave up their nuclear wepons. Don't forget.
