Trump kept downplaying the idea of a ceasefire. I disagree and think Metz is spot on here, a ceasefire is essential as soon as possible!

Only the pre and post meetings were televised. The same as with Putin. Putin spoke quite a bit after he got what he wanted from Trump. Trump mumbled then stumbled out. It was a fiasco. That’s probably why you don’t remember it.

Trump can't bring himself to tell Putin anything, so if there is a ceasefire it won't be because of Trump. I feel so bad for these countries, they have to play a game to make Trump feel like he's boss they have to build him up and massage his stupid brain all this to keep him from sinking everything

Ceasefire is a waste of time, Russia will use it to improve their positions. Immediately supplying Ukraine with overwhelming firepower is the best thing to do. Liquidate katsaps until no Russian invader breathes Ukrainian air.
