I disagree, for a career military officer, who’s spent their life serving, it’s a very difficult decision.
I can’t imagine being someone of such intelligence and honor having to be subservient to Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump. It would be unbearable!
As a veteran(enlisted), I've had to serve under people I thought were terrible. Granted it's different and there's more at stake in his situation, but anybody who's served knows they sometimes have to bite the bullet and keep going for those under you not just for yourself.
