reading Ron Chernow's "Twain" biography now. hard work, but worth it.

It's waiting for me on my nightstand. I was hoping , "TWAIN" would be easier than, " HAMILTON" , but it sounds like it's not! Boo I LOVED ," GRANT". I read the first 400 + pages in 3 days, but the second half took me a little longer.

wow, that's impressive. I read "Hamilton" and liked it. Never imagined it would become a hip hop masterpiece. I haven't read "Grant" yet. I have to work up to Ron Chernow. he tests my concentration and stamina. there's "Washington", too! so much to look forward to.

He does indeed!! 🤣 I watched Ken Burns documentary on TWAIN , 3 times. I loved it. It was so very painful to understand how sad his life was in the end. You'll love "GRANT". I didn't know there was , "Washington" too. WOW! Thanks for letting me know.

he's prolific. I didn't see Ken Burns, but I know what you mean about the end of Twain's life being sad. I could barely push myself through it. I've thought about "Grant" for years. I'll add it to my "to read" queue. thank you!
