Why does this shock you? We also had "the world's greatest economy" in January 2001, and it took Gee Dubya and Darth Cheney less than 10 months to completely erase Clinton's budget surplus. 9/11 not withstanding, the erasure was well on its way beforehand. Republicans cannot effectively govern!!!
