I have a friend whose father served in NASA. I say served because the hopes of a nation were on their shoulders. He talked about the pride his father felt representing America in the space race. To see it treated with such disrespect is treasonous.

A large portion of people think all NASA does is launch rockets. I’ve been fortunate to work with NASA on many projects from A/C maneuverability to Space Station, Mars Rovers and space telescopes. Projects typically take 20+ yrs from start to launch. Losing the basic research is devastating.
