HIMARS can help make the little holes for these spikes in all of their vehicles 🙂 💛💙

The windshield looks like a pretty clear target.
I hear there are grave concerns in Ukraine and Nato, this world leading hardware has not gone unnoticed
Porcupine is indeed very appropriate for this one.
Welcome back slat armor
I like the Mad Max energy this gives off.
Mad Max was my 1st thought when i saw this
“Next time we use springs to make bomb bounce away”
“No don’t worry about protecting the windshield. It’s shatterproof”
Gotta love that youthful optimism.
This sort of armour system concept might actually work well on something other than a rusty tin can 🤣
It mislabeled the slat armor vs AP system
Which is more effective: armor or armar?
That’s easy - armour 🙂
It called the cannon an ir sensor
The more I look the more I realize theyre almost all wrong lol
That’s called job security 😂 - for now anyway human oversight is still needed. I had noticed one or two but no way in hell I was editing that image to correct them lol
btw, chatGPT is just adding every known defense mechanism known on to a tank without considering if they actually work or make sense to put on the machine without interfering with operability or cost.
Yep in fairness the answer was quite comprehensive and mentioned the cost considerations and viability of emerging technologies. But it didn’t come up with any new ideas.
It's not supposed to come up with no ideas it doesn't even really understand what it's analyzing It's giving you and amalgamation of the answers that that question receives in it's training model and similar questions and things that are tangentially related etc etc
including many wrong answers. the more specific the field, the more some schmuck on reddit talking out of their ass can influence what you receive.
yeah it will do that because stuff like that is mentioned every paper document talking about development - it still does not know which ones are compatible like slat armor and NERA on soft skin vehicles. the drone safe tank exists, but its useless against anything else
Fair 🤣
Yes, Hellraiser! It’s a Hellraiska!

TÜV sagt: Njet!
This is ART! Should be shown in a museum
They spiked the resale value.
"Oops we can't open the doors now..."
Seriously, how are they supposed to get in without impaling themselves?
Imagine this working and future armored vehicles all look like porcupines.
Reminds me of the hedgehog armor of the Pzh2000 (which kind of worked in at least one case). OTOH the PZH has a minimum of armour beneath that, too.
need to be longer
I've had baked potatoes with more armor and protection than this thing.
No shortage of (probably pilfered) re-bar it seems
голь на выдумки хитра
Uh, and the roof? Maybe don't let your enemy know when they make a mistake... By the way, the health and safety officer wants to have a word!
"Mad Maksim"?
the buzzard cars in Fury Road. They spoke Russian in the movie too
My first thought, too.
I don't think they understand how pressure waves work. That will not be effective at all. In fact it may make the FPV strike even more lethal than it would have been otherwise to the occupants and even anyone in the vicinity. Flying spikes and all.
Yeah I'm thinking the spikes near the point of impact will be launched clean through the vehicle and it's occupants
If that's thin wooden sticks then it's unlikely to.penetrate a bukhanka if propelled.towards it by a detonation. I'd say they are onto.something here
If they have enough mass to not bend when attached at a 90 degree angle I would wager a bet they have enough mass to do some damage either as a single object or as shrapnel.
A stick should be enough to have the two usual coiled wires on a drones bend, touch each other and detonate the drone some distance away from the buchanka
🤫
Мад Макс
This will totally protect them, that and a lot of vodka.
Now show me the video where one drunk Russian pushes another drunk Russian onto those things...
I want to see the 'after' photo where a bunch of the spikes were sent through the vehicle and out the other side by an fpv blast
You know there's a video!
Good added destructive value when those spikes are released and penetrate the cabin in an explosion User Grim Reaper likes it
