It has taken a long time for Baku to realize they are on Putin's shopping list as much as Ukraine is. Probably in spite of Kasparov constantly reminding them. This goes away quite easily if they send 100k troops to Ukraine. Nobody will have to worry about Russia ever again.

Russia can not fight both Azerbaijan and Ukraine at the same time unless Putin's plan is to get Iran to invade Azerbaijan but Iran can't do that and fight Israel.
