I know he’s still angling to get his Nobel, but it surprises me to see him involved with something like this that impinges on Putin’s clout in his own claimed sphere of influence. Despite Trump’s fingerprint on this, I think it’s good news for the region, especially for the people in Georgia 🇬🇪.

Armenia has distanced itself from Russia's orbit, subsequent to Armenia's defeat by Azerbaijan in the recent War. Russia had been serving as Armenia's protective patron, but (otherwise quite preoccupied by its War in Ukraine), failed to rescue Armenia in its hour of need.
