The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on Friday at Ukraine’s request to discuss Russia’s recent large-scale airstrikes on Kyiv and other cities. Ukraine’s delegation will brief the international community on the damage and call for an immediate ceasefire and protection of civilians.
