Every Ukrainian heard her drawing an equivalency on acts that should never have been reduced to tit for tat. I’d guess they were shocked but not surprised, and one Ukrainian MP noted on CNN that Trump hadn’t even posted a message of condolence.

I don’t know. He’s been tied to money laundering for Russian oligarchs for years (as has Witkoff). He’s a sexual predator, but that’s well known and he is incapable of feeling shame. So I doubt that’s a factor. His extreme personality disorder makes him easily manipulated, and he‘s envious of Putin.
