The FSB facility near Armiansk was hit by Ukrainian Flamingo missiles, not Neptune, according to military sources cited by Militarnyi. Video released online shows a triple launch at sunrise on 30 August from Ukraine’s coast using solid-fuel boosters.
Why use flamingos for such a short distance hit?
Probably live test. Easy, very well known target where damage assesment will be done quickly and it is sure to hit. Likely one of last tests of Flamingo before it is used seriously.
