What Germany did during WW2 was horrible beyond description. But.. That ideology was utterly crushed, not only by the victors but by the german people themselves. And its been generations, leaving Germany as one of the very few non-dysfunctional countries. Much more so than Poland. Let it go.

It's easier for conservative Polish parties to cultivate an enemy image of Germany than of Russia (although no one in Poland likes the Russians - Katyn!). Even the previous conservative government massively increased defense spending in response to Russia's invasion of Poland.
