democratic voters refused to vote for genocide. They refused to give their permission. The deal the democrats offered was they would compromise to do it whether we give them permission or not. Thats extortion.

extortion is when the extortionist demands permission to do unethical things, and promises that if you don't give permission, they will do them anyway. but don't get hung up on that, mi sure the courts are on your side, but the methods or dealing with extortion are the same, and working beautifully.
