It appears that gerrymandering is a huge problem in America, but one of the biggest problems that American democracy has, is that many citizens don’t even bother to vote. Almost a third of eligible voters didn’t bother to vote in the last election, that is a real concern.

We don’t register to vote by party in Texas. And even if looking at primary turnout in 2024 the GOP had twice as many turnout for their primary over the dem primary
