Now that the province has taken control over the bridge, I'd take the ferry or drive around Bedford. At some point, the bridge will become unsafe.

Currently you can't get on the bridge from PM Blvd, but starting Friday night you won't be able to get off the bridge exit past the old tolls down to PM Blvd either.
